How personalization works

Each product page lists what can be personalized on that piece, the available options and, where relevant, the recommended length of text. Read it carefully: some pieces take any text you choose, others offer a fixed set of letters and are not engraved to order. A few tips help every time. Keep it short: on the personalized bangle, around 15 characters gives the cleanest result. Check spelling, accents and dates before ordering, since custom engraved jewelry is made to your exact text. For a photo, choose a close-up with a simple background, as faces need to fill most of a small frame.

Caring for personalized pieces

Most of our personalized jewelry is stainless steel, in a silver, gold or rose gold tone. Put it on after perfume and lotion, and take it off before swimming, showering or sport, especially a photo locket. Wipe it with a soft cloth, clean it occasionally in lukewarm soapy water with a soft brush, then dry the engraving carefully. Avoid abrasive products, which can soften the lettering and wear plated finishes.
