Choosing your charm bracelet
There are two ways to wear charms. The first is a bracelet that comes already composed, with its charms fixed on the chain: our heart charm bracelet combines a chunky link chain with a puffed heart, a small cylinder lock and a tag, in gold, silver or a silver and gold mix. The twin heart bracelet offers two versions, two puffed hearts on a flat chain or a mix of hearts, moon and stars, in 316L stainless steel with zircon details. The second way is the Italian charm bracelet, a base made to evolve.
The Italian charm bracelet
Our Italian charm bracelet is a stretch band of small, flat square links that sit side by side, like a slim watch strap. It slips over the hand without a clasp and comes with plain links, in silver, gold or two-tone. Each link can be swapped for a charm link: stretch two links apart at an angle, unhook the plain one and slot the new one in its place. Links can also be added or removed by hand to adjust the fit. It is the most personal way to compose a bracelet, one meaningful charm at a time.
Initials, names and meaningful charms
Letters are the most personal charms of all. The initial heart charm bangle is a twisted gold-tone bangle with a heart engraved with an initial, to choose from the letters offered on the product page. The heart initial bracelet pairs a beaded chain with a heart and a letter charm. To spell out a whole name, the custom name charm bracelet carries the name of your choice in script lettering on a Cuban link chain. And for a mother, the mama bracelet shows "MAMA" in gold-tone lettering on a paperclip chain. These charm bracelets make easy gifts: think about what she already wears, gold or silver, discreet or bold, and choose a symbol that means something to both of you.
Fit and care
A charm bracelet should move a little on the wrist without sliding over the hand, so the charms can hang freely. Check the length on each product page, as several models come with an extender chain, and measure your wrist with our bracelet size chart. Most of our charm bracelets are stainless steel, with gold-tone pieces plated; the plating can slowly wear where charms rub. Take your bracelet off before swimming or sport, wipe it with a soft cloth and store it flat so charms do not tangle.
