Men's Signet Rings
The classic flat-top ring, reworked in gold and silver tones for everyday wear.
A mens signet ring is the most timeless ring a man can wear: a flat top, a solid band and a presence that does not need much else to make a quiet statement. Round, oval, set with a black stone or carved with a lion, our signets range from understated to bold.
Choose your shape, then your finish, gold or silver tones, to match your watch and everyday style.
How to choose a signet ring
The shape of the top sets the tone. An oval face is the most traditional and elegant; our oval signet ring sits comfortably on the pinky or the ring finger. A round top feels more modern and compact, ideal for a first signet. For contrast, the onyx signet ring adds a black stone that works as well with a suit as with a T-shirt, a good option if you were looking for a black signet ring. And if you want character, the lion ring brings a carved motif with a heraldic feel.
To make it truly yours, the custom signet ring can be personalized; the available options are detailed on its product page.
Gold or silver tones
Gold-tone signets are the classic choice, warm and slightly vintage, and they pair well with brown leather and earthy colors. Silver tones feel cleaner and more contemporary, and match grey, navy and black. If you already wear a wedding band, a watch or a bracelet, keep the same tone on the same hand. Most of our pieces are made of gold-tone or silver-tone stainless steel; check each product page for the exact material and dimensions of the top.
Which finger for a signet ring
Traditionally, a signet ring is worn on the pinky of the non-dominant hand, often the left. Today, the ring finger and the index are just as common, especially for larger tops. A smaller face looks balanced on the pinky; a wide or heavy signet sits better on the index or ring finger, where it does not dominate the hand. If you wear a wedding band, wearing the signet on the other hand keeps things clean. Our guide to signet ring meaning tells the story behind the tradition.
Size and comfort
Signet rings have a thicker band and a heavier top than a simple ring, so they can feel snugger. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger, and if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one, especially for the pinky. Our ring size chart explains how to measure at home. To keep the top looking sharp, wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wear and remove it before sport or manual work.
